From the chilled acoustic guitar and vocal of the solo set, to the smooth harmonies of the male/female duo over acoustic guitar to the solid sound of the three piece band, Luke Dewing has the musical option for you! Unlike some others, with Luke what you book is what you get - Luke personally plays all dates booked and hand picks any accompanying musicians.
SOLO
Luke is a multi instrumentalist. Singing, playing guitar and playing percussion with his feet makes for a bigger sound than the everyday acoustic performance. He also uses an effects pedal that adds bass to the mix resulting in a full sound that is still acoustic and intimate.
DUO
Luke singing and playing guitar plus one of the following duo options:
Female singer - Adds another lead vocal, great harmonies while increasing song choice and variety. This is the most popular duo choice.
Saxophone - Add the smooth sound of a jazz/funk styled instrument to the tunes you know and love.
Electric Guitar - Adds the flavour of Blues and Rock to the performance.
TRIO
Luke singing and playing guitar, and a female singer, plus one of the following trio options:
Drummer - Adds a great band dimension to the sound. This is easily the most popular trio choice.
Saxophone - Adds the smooth sound of a jazz/funk styled instrument to the tunes. Complements the jazz dinner sets that are offered as an add on.
Electric Guitar - Adds the flavour of Blues and Rock to the performance.
DJ
Adding the DJ option to your package allows the band to cover the first half of the evening with chilled background tunes leaving the DJ to crank the dance floor for the second half of the night. Our DJs can take requests and are skilled in reading the crowd allowing them to cater to the vibe of the evening. The DJ package includes stage lighting for the band and room lighting for when the DJ plays. When you book either the Solo, Duo, or Trio plus DJ you get the band for 3 x 45 min sets and the DJ for 2-3 hours. E.g., band plays 6pm-9pm or 7pm-9:45pm and the DJ takes over from when the band finishes til 12am.
